EVault Expands Operations in Munich, Germany

EVault, Inc., a Seagate company, announced the opening of its new office in Munich, Germany.

The office allows to expand its footprint in Europe, better serve current partners, and continue to grow its partner channel. EVault’s office in Munich is situated in the same building as Seagate Germany.

EVault provides onsite, cloud and cloud-connected data protection solutions to help organizations protect distributed environments, supported by a secure, reliable cloud storage infrastructure and backed by quality customer service. It has been a leader in the industry’s move to hybrid storage models, with an integrated ecosystem of EVault storage software, SaaS, managed services and appliances that help ensure customers maintain BC. Geared towards mid-market and enterprise businesses, EVault solutions are optimized to perform in multi-site, multi-platform environments, for protecting operations in remote and branch office locations.

From its new office in Germany, EVault will offer its cloud-connected backup and recovery products and services through its partners, Cloud-Connected Resellers (CCR) and Cloud-Connected Service Providers (CCSP).  It will also offer local partner training.

In coordination with partners this new office will more effectively address the issues raised in EVault’s own research, which found that nearly half of German companies suffered from data loss last year.

evault_vangramberen Jean Vangramberen is responsible for EVault sales in EMEA Central (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Eastern Europe and the Middle East). Prior to joining EVault, he spent six and a half years in similar roles for Microsoft. Before that, he held sales management roles with ProClarity, Teradata, and NCR.
