Dana Loof VP Marketing, Kaminario

Previously at Symantec, Veritas and EVault

Kaminario, Inc. announced the appointment of Dana Loof as VP marketing.

With a track record for building world-class brands, she will lead the development, coordination and execution of the company’s marketing strategies including product marketing, field marketing, and corporate communications.

"While the large storage vendors have been promising scale-out all-flash arrays for years, the truth is Kaminario has been the only vendor to actually deliver in spades," said Loof. "Kaminario’s fourth generation general purpose all flash array outperforms all other flash startups in performance across any workload, while providing enterprise-class resiliency. As the large vendors say, this kind of performance can only be found from a true scale-out architecture, and Kaminario has been delivering that since 2010. This is an incredible time in the company’s trajectory to start."

loof_kaminario Loof previously held senior level positions at Symantec and Veritas where she led global advertising, as well as EVault, a Seagate Company, where she was responsible for worldwide marketing and led the company through an acquisition by Seagate Technology.

Most recently, Loof served as the executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing of Pano Logic, in zero client desktop virtualization, which was acquired in 2013. During her time at Pano Logic, she spearheaded the company’s expansion efforts into Europe and Latin America, as well as launched its two-tiered partner program.

"As the provider of the only enterprise scale-out flash array on the market, we are not just transforming today’s storage standards but fundamentally changing the way business gets done," said Dani Golan, CEO, Kaminario. "Dana’s proven experience delivering a clearly differentiated message will help grow our presence in the market and provide more companies with a storage solution that is able to scale with their needs as they change over time."

Prior to her work with Veritas, Loof began her career at Oracle where she led a cross-functional team of product, field and corporate marketing to develop integrated strategic marketing campaigns.

She received her Bachelors of Science degree in international business with an emphasis in marketing from San Francisco State University’s College of Business.
