Storage System Providers Turn to Insyde Software BIOS
Promise, Qnap, Qsan, Synology, Uniview Technologies and X-IO

Vendors such as Promise Technology, Inc., Qnap, Inc., Qsan Technology, Inc., Synology, Inc., Uniview Technologies and X-IO Technologies among others have been added to the company’s customer list in the past 18 months.
These storage system providers are leveraging UEFI BIOS in storage products that include NAS, video/IP capture systems, NVR, rack-mounted servers, data archiving devices.
Engineering expertise in storage products, support for key server platform technologies and silicon roadmap support are some of the reasons these vendors select InsydeH2O. Insyde offers UEFI BIOS support for the server and storage roadmap from Intel, from entry-level storage platforms to enterprise-based storage systems.
Examples of storage-specific features supported by InsydeH2O include Non-Transparent Bridges (NTB) for adding I/O and memory resources, Asynchronous DRAM Refresh (ADR) for memory preservation and drive performance and Copy-to-Flash for ADR reliable memory storage and recovery.
