Euronet Streamlines Backup and Restoration by 50%

Actifio, Inc. announced that its Copy storage platform has been implemented by Euronet Worldwide, Inc., provider of secure
electronic payment solutions for financial institutions, retailers, service
providers and individual consumers.

Actifio copy storage reduced Euronet’s backup times from eight hours to just
under three hours, delivering over 50% faster backup and recovery efficiency.
This enabled to deliver faster, more efficient services and recovery
options because they can reproduce replicated data sets more quickly.

Founded in 1994, Euronet is an electronic payments provider processing
transactions across three core business segments: Electronic Financial
Transactions (EFT), prepaid (epay) and money transfer. With data growth of more
than 25% in its corporate and US epay divisions, it required a new
solution to find, access, store and manage large volumes of confidential,
mission-critical data around the clock on a daily basis.
