BiTMICRO Revealing SATA 2.5-Inch SSDs for Industrial Applications

BiTMICRO Networks, Inc. announced their newest line of industrial SATA SSDs, the Ace Drive I-Series.

Built to meet industrial requirements for ruggedness and reliability, Ace Drive I-Series SSDs can withstand severe industrial environments. I-Series drives offer reliable performance in a range of temperatures (-40° to 85°C), shock (1,500G), humidity (5%-95%) and vibration (5-500Hz at 3.1G).

"We have maxIO SSDs for the highest level enterprise customers and e-disk Altima SSDs for the most demanding military customers. What was missing was a SATA SSD specifically designed for industrial applications," said Zophar Sante, VP of WW sales and marketing.

The Ace Drive I-Series SATA is available in a standard 2.5" form factor in capacities starting at 8GB up to 1TB.

They can replace traditional HDDs in industrial applications. They drives come with a set of features that industrial users depend on for mission-critical operations including dynamic power management and data protection.

They support S.M.A.R.T., Native Command Queuing (NCQ) for up to 32 commands, TRIM command support and dynamic/static wear leveling for extended endurance. An additional one-key intelligent destruction security feature prevents third-party data retrieval for customers in need of added security.
