Steven Rose MD of EMEA and LATAM, Violin Memory

Previously responsible for delivering a $220 million revenue stream as senior SVP of EMEA and LATAM for Informatica, he will lead regional market awareness, go-to-market strategies and customer success for Violin flash memory arrays.
"The storage industry is shifting monumentally and flash is at the center of this shift," said Rose. "Violin Memory’s technology is making a global impact and my goal is to continue driving Violin’s vision across the EMEA and LATAM markets."
Rose has nearly three decades of experience, holding various VP positions for a variety of technology companies. He oversaw several acquisitions and has been a part of two IPOs. Prior to joining Violin Memory, he was SVP of EMEA and LATAM for Informatica, where he managed channel markets, product deployments and sales overseas to ensure profitable revenue streams. Before that, he was at CommVault through its IPO as the VP of EMEA and APAC. Rose was also the VP at Veritas for UK and Africa before the company was acquired by Symantec.
