It becomes the first backup and storage provider to be certified to offer complete backup protection for all Windows environments including applications, databases and hypervisors.

The release of SEP sesam version 4.2 offers a secure backup solution for Microsoft Windows users. Additionally, SEP’s Hybrid Backup solution guarantees backup, recovery and DR for all important O/S releases, including Windows NT to 2012 along with an amount of Linux distributions including Red Hat, SUSE and Debian. Unix and Mac OS Systems are protected as well and the deduplication and replication capability are one of the key features of SEP sesam.

Suited for the enterprise to the SME space, SEP sesam’s GUI allows the system administrator to function from anywhere. Backup topologies and policies can be created to match the needs of the individual institution.
With SEP sesam’s patented multi-streaming technology, an unlimited number of servers can be backed up on one storage device, including tape, or on many storage devices simultaneously.
