Irish DataSolutions Expands SilverLine Cloud Service

Egenera, Inc., in converged
infrastructure and cloud management, announced that DataSolutions Ltd, one of an Ireland’s IT distributors, has selected HP BladeSystem servers, EMC VNX
storage and the Egenera Cloud Suite as the platform for its enterprise cloud
offering.

The SilverLine cloud service, being built and delivered using EMC’s VSPEX
reference architecture, will provide DataSolutions’ partners access to cloud
infrastructure and management.

Located in Dublin, Ireland, DataSolutions launched its SilverLine cloud service
in late 2011. SilverLine, which provides security, infrastructure and backup as
a service to DataSolutions’ reseller partners, leveraged the VSPEX Proven
Infrastructure Solution to increase its scalability and resiliency and to
accelerate its time to deployment – getting the expanded cloud offerings into
the hands of its reseller partners faster.

chose the Egenera VSPEX proven solution for its:
