Markus Walcher VP EMEA Sales, Barracuda Networks
Joined company through acquisition of Phion in 2009.

He will be responsible for consolidating established markets within EMEA, with a focus on expanding the business operations into new markets with products for IT security and storage.
Walcher first joined Barracuda through the acquisition of Phion AG in 2009 and has experience within the security market, having graduated with a Computer Science degree and previously working for T-Systems, Systrex, and Phion AG since 2003.
He was most recently the regional sales director for Austria, Switzerland as well as Eastern and Southern Europe. Through this new appointment he will be heading up the 54 sales people across EMEA.
