The NVRs are for businesses with an existing network storage-based video surveillance network as well as those participating in the ongoing industry upgrade from analog-based surveillance systems.
The NVRs feature Milestone Arcus, the video management software (VMS) from Milestone Systems A/S, in open platform IP video management software.

The NVR product family includes three models: the double-drive px2-300d NVR with Milestone Arcus, which includes 4TB of storage and 4 camera licenses; and two versions of the new four-drive px4-300d NVR with Milestone Arcus, one with 4TB and 8 camera licenses and one with 8TB and 16 camera licenses. Each model also comes with a one-year software update plan, enabling users to receive the latest feature updates and releases from Milestone.
LenovoEMC unveiled its new line of NVR products with Milestone Arcus at the ISC West security tradeshow in Las Vegas, NE.
Milestone Arcus
Milestone Arcus is an embedded video surveillance platform for low-complexity, affordable security installations. A VMS solution that runs on Linux, Mac OS X and Windows related OSs, it offers a streamlined, video management tool that is simple and easy-to-install for users of LenovoEMC’s new line of NVRs.
Providing ‘power-on’ simple installation that auto-detects cameras on the network and speeds their configuration in the system, Milestone Arcus is for customers who want to move from analog cameras to IP network technology. It features an web client interface for viewing live or recorded video, searching and exporting evidence.

Availability and Warranty
The new LenovoEMC NVR products are expected to be available in May. Pricing will start at approximately $1,100.00 for the px2-300d NVR with Milestone Arcus. Select models will be available in certain markets around the world.
In May, LenovoEMC also expects to offer the Milestone Arcus VMS as a downloadable applicationwww.lifelineapps.com for users of existing Iomega-branded high performance px series network storage devices running the LenovoEMC LifeLine 4.0 OS. The downloadable version of Milestone Arcus will include two demo camera licenses that will work for 30 days. Camera licenses can be purchased and activated.
