Storix System Backup Administrator Adds Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4
And Intel-based hardware using UEFI

Storix,
Inc. announced the availability of System
Backup Administrator 8.1.1.0, which includes support for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 6.4.
The company is one of the first vendors
to support bare-metal recovery for the release of Red Hat Enterprise
Linux 6.4. With driver support included in RHEL 6.4, customers are
able to get improved virtual guest performance for VMware and Hyper-V
deployments. Customers can use a single product for the backup and
bare-metal recovery of both their physical and virtual systems.
Unlike disk-image based snapshot
products, SBAdmin provides the capabilities of performing
whole-system recoveries to dissimilar hardware or virtualized
environments. Customers can also use the solution as a migration tool
to move systems from physical hardware to virtual, virtual to
physical, or between virtualized environments, such as between VMware
to Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization.
SBAdmin works on all supported Red Hat
platforms, including Intel 32-bit, 64-bit and IBM PowerLinux.

RHEL 6.4, this release of adds hardware flexibility by adding support
