Baker will spearhead the initiative to secure strategic partnerships that will strengthen DataON’s positioning as the provider of enterprise external storage JBODs, optimize and accelerate the company’s long-term growth, and tasked with increasing channel partner relationships for the Nexenta and Microsoft storage markets.
"Trenton is an excellent addition to the DataON leadership team," states William Huang, VP of sales, DataON Storage. "He brings a strategic channel acumen and operational ability to this role, including an extensive background in storage marketing and demand generation. He will focus on developing our growth strategy and extending our reach as the external storage of choice for cloud and big data deployments."
Baker brings 15 years of server and storage marketing experience, and a background in Software-defined Storage. Most recently, he served as the senior program and partner for Nexenta Systems, where he began in 2011. His responsibilities included alliance partner marketing development, department budget planning, product marketing, events/tradeshow management, and lead generation.
Previously he spent 13 years in various storage-centric roles from SEO management to director of marketing with a track record of achieving results in product integration with partners, marketing communications, and public relations.
Trenton holds BA in Business Administration, Marketing as well as a BA degree in Sociology from California State University Fullerton
