Paul has served as Neverfail’s VP of global support since 2006.
David Friedlander has also joined as VP of marketing.
These changes to Neverfail’s senior leadership roster support the company’s growing customer base and continued efforts to ensure a unified business and marketing strategy across all aspects of the organization.
In this newly created executive role, Dossey will be responsible for guiding the company’s overall customer experience, strategies and tactics, as well as leading the development and execution of a cohesive customer engagement strategy across the organization. In order to drive solid, customer-focused results, he will spearhead efforts to ensure that the customer experience is built into every aspect of Neverfail’s business – from sales and marketing to service operations and product enhancements.
Prior to joining Neverfail, he worked for Dell Inc. He joined Dell in 1999 and most recently served as services IT development manager. In that position, he was primarily responsible for managing the company’s global development teams, which supported internal services IT and Dell managed Services business units.
"At Neverfail, our mission is to not only provide first-class BC solutions, but a world-class customer experience," said Martin Mackay, CEO of Neverfail. "Paul and his support organization team have been at the forefront of Neverfail’s customer engagement, and have done an outstanding job building sustainable relationships and supporting our global customer base. As we expand those efforts, I am confident that Paul’s leadership will bring true focus to our customer-centric model to ensure the customer is taken into consideration at all times, across all departments, and in all major decisions."
Paul previously served as Neverfail’s VP of global support. Since joining the company in 2006, he has worked to expand Neverfail’s worldwide customer support team and U.S. professional services and online customer support initiatives by delivering support and maximizing the customer experience.
As an experienced marketing and strategy professional, Friedlander will be responsible for leading Neverfail’s global corporate and product marketing campaigns. In this role, he will work with the Neverfail executive team, including Paul, to create and deliver the company’s global corporate messaging platform and marketing programs.
"David was the missing link we needed to help raise Neverfail visibility as the global leader in BC lifecycle management," said Martin Mackay, CEO of Neverfail. "His experience in corporate branding and product marketing, combined with his expertise in Neverfail’s market made him the perfect choice to lead these efforts. We look forward to the exciting things coming up for Neverfail for which David plays an integral role, as well as the positive contributions he will make as a part of the Neverfail team."
Prior to Neverfail, Friedlander was director of marketing at storage start-up Tintri, where he launched – and then helped grow – the company from zero to more than 150 enterprise customers in 18 months. He also worked in product marketing at VMware, where he oversaw the VMware vCenter Server product. In this role, he was part of the team that brought the Neverfail OEM product to VMware, enabling VMware customers to benefit from extended continuous availability. He also worked in product management at Microsoft and as a senior industry analyst at Forrester Research, where he led research initiatives on distributed systems management and thin client computing.
