The performance and capacity flash cards are engineered for mission critical transportation, military, enterprise mobility, and healthcare applications.

The 32GB capacity is a large capacity in the SDHC form factor, making it a solution for space constrained devices and HD video recording needed for fleet and transportation surveillance. Quality recording with performance are critical features needed for safety, accountability and evidence for surveillance investigations.

ATP utilizes SLC NAND flash technology and wear leveling algorithms which maximize flash component utilization. The newly-developed SDHC cards are measured using the Total Byte Written longevity metric for the flash products endurance with a 768TBW rating. The SDHC SLC card is comparable to a 30GB 2.5 inch SSD which carries a TBW of 1,000TB, but requires much more space. TBW calculation is based on the write usage condition, the NAND component type, the write amplification factor, and the wear-leveling efficiency of the controller.

The 32GB SDHC cards offer a temperature operating range of -40° to +85° C, and are encapsulated in ATP’s SIP (System In Package) process rendering the crads waterproof, dust proof, electrostatic discharge proof and shock proof. The cards also include ATP’s SD Life Monitor technology which offers health status feedback to the host by pro-actively detecting the percentage of remaining life in the storage device.

The SDHC cards offers capacities ranging from 512MB to 32GB in the SLC grade and capacities from 4GB to 32GB in the MLC grade.
