Quantum Corp., San Jose, CA, has been assigned a patent, (8,326,884), developed by Joe Kent Jurneke, Brighton, CO, for a "data storage system."
The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: "The present invention is directed to an archival data storage system. The archival data storage system includes WORM capability, data redundancy, error correction, and access control.
