Bitmicro OnBoard Program for Talino SSD Controller

Aimed at OEMs

Bitmicro
Networks, Inc.
announced their Bitmicro OnBoard Program.

The program supports OEMs that want to utilize Bitmicro’s Talino SSD Controller
technology within their own products.

"It’s
undeniable that the solid state storage industry is growing rapidly,
"
said Zophar Sante, VP of marketing and sales at Bitmicro. "We’re not only speaking with companies that
want to use our SSD controller technology to develop their own solid state
drive solutions, but also with companies seeking to embed solid state storage
natively into their own vertical application platforms. Developing a solid
state ASIC controller takes time and significant resources. By offering our
Talino SSD Controller and associated technology to other OEMs, we shorten their
time to market and provide them with a competitive advantage.

New Talino architecture features Talino ASIC quad core SSD controller, which can achieve up to 400,000
random IOPS at 4KB. That kind of performance can prove to be beneficial to OEMs
who want to make the most out of their own products. The other chip in the  architecture is the ISIP ASIC flash expander, which allows to
scale up capacity and performance. The Talino Architecture powers Bitmicro’s
recently announced maxIO line of enterprise SSD.

The Bitmicro OnBoard program marks the company’s
entry into the technology component and licensing market.
