Ingram Micro Expands US Distribution Agreement With HP

To include 3Ppar StoreServ 7000 and StoreOnce

Ingram Micro Inc. expanded its US distribution agreement with Hewlett-Packard Development company, LP to include the HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000 Storage and HP StoreOnce Backup systems.

"Available to HP/Ingram Micro channel partners in the US, these new HP Converged Storage solutions are suited for virtualized, IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS) and cloud environments and can scale to meet the needs of SMBs as well as large enterprise organizations and service providers," said Scott Zahl, VP and GM, Ingram Micro Advanced Computing Division, US.

"The flexibility, manageability and overall performance found within HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage and HP StoreOnce Backup is grabbing the attention of our channel partners," said Zahl. "Whether we’re talking cloud or mainstream business storage needs, HP’s new Converged Storage portfolio offers solutions purpose-built to help our channel partners meet today’s most demanding customer requirements in datacenters of all sizes while reducing costs and improving service."

HP Converged Storage products are being supported by the distributor’s HP Enterprise Group Division and Advanced Computing Division, which include dedicated HP field technical consultants (FTCs), channel account managers (CAMs) and dedicated sales, technical support and marketing professionals.

"We’ve seen strong growth in our HP 3PAR business over the last six quarters and have invested significantly in the value-added resources, expertise and infrastructure to support these new solutions," continued Zahl.
