PeakColo Adds 7th Cloud Node in Chicago, IL

PeakColo will partner with PlusOne, Inc., a Chicago-based data center service provider, to provide low latency services in that region. Chicago brings the total number of PeakColo cloud regions to six, including Seattle, Denver, New York, New Jersey, and the United Kingdom.

The company offers a 100% channel-centric business model. White-labeling PeakColo’s IaaS cloud services as their own, resellers enter the cloud marketplace under their own brand, preserving their customer relationships. PeakColo is VMware vCloud Powered and is a Platinum-level NetApp service provider.

Recently, PeakColo raised $7.5 million in growth equity capital from Meritage Funds and Sweetwater Capital. The investment will fund growth to meet customer demand in the company’s current markets and expansion into additional markets over the next twelve months.
