Idera Sever Backup Capabilities
Unlike other solutions which can take days to set up, Idera Server Backup can be downloaded, configured and installed in less than 30 minutes. No expensive additional modules are required and no professional services or additional training costs are necessary to get up to speed. The software offers an efficient solution, CDP, leveraging block level backup technology that identifies which portions of a hard disk need to be read for an incremental backup. This means the backup is performed with minimal load on production servers and in minutes, not hours, and users can backup data as frequently as every 15 minutes with minimal impact.

The product supports backups for both Windows and Linux. Over 9 different Linux distributions are supported including most custom and patched Linux kernels. The software also protects servers in virtual environments including VMware, Hyper-V and Xen and provides support for MS Exchange, MySQL and MS SQL Server.
