Prologic Adds DR Capabilities
To cloud-based K-12 ERP
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on November 2, 2012 at 2:54 pmPrologic Technology Systems, Inc.,
a Texas-based K-12 information technology company, just unveiled its TEAMS cloud-based
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with DR and BC services.
TEAMS ERP is a tightly integrated business, payroll and student management
solution for school districts seeking access flexibility, affordability and
little or no upfront capital expenditure. TEAMS also provides the added value
of a provisioned storage, retrieval and restoration solution with guaranteed
resumption of business processes including finance, human resources,
purchasing/inventory and student information in as few as 4 hours.
"After experiencing
hurricane Katrina in 2005, it would be hard to imagine a school district in
Texas without a DR plan for mission-critical processes," stated Gary
Axtman, COO of Prologic. "The hurdle in transitioning from plan to implementation has been the
cost, especially for rural locations with limited budgets and few IT resources,TEAMS offers clients
an affordable, turnkey solution of hardware, software and ERP data backups to
activate a warm site within a matter of hours should a disaster occur."
TEAMS ERP is delivered as a SaaS solution,
which allows school districts to access a managed ERP and DR system without the
traditional costs associated with supporting and maintaining an ERP system.
TEAMS Cloud-based ERP with DR is currently being deployed at 4 Texas school
districts: Killeen ISD, Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Duncanville ISD and
Lancaster ISD.
