"We have updated our IT infrastructure in
order to meet the increased demands of data access and secure backup from the
internal organization, but also to meet the increasing customer demands of
accessibility in our external systems. Our IT plays a vital role in the
customer experience and to secure service delivery to the end consumer we
identified a need to renew ourselves by adding power and capacity in our entire
IT infrastructure. Proact has delivered on those demands by installing a
flexible end-to-end solution which we can grow with," says Zeraldin
Hajdarevic, CIO, ÖstgötaTrafiken.
To address the demands of ÖstgötaTrafiken, Proact presented a
solution including migration of the old platform to an upgraded version,
configuration of switches and consolidation of file servers and around 60
virtual servers.
ÖstgötaTrafiken has also received new solutions for management, storage and
backup. To protect previous IT investments, the previous IT environment
is used for testing and development.
"ÖstgötaTrafiken has a strong
link between the IT function and the core operations. Both travelers and
employees are depending on IT continuity. It has been great working with
ÖstgötaTrafiken as we have managed the project from start to finish. Today
ÖstgötaTrafiken has an IT environment addressing both current and future IT
challenges," says Martin Ödman, regional manager, Proact.
