Promise’s VessRAID iSCSI Validated on Genetec Omnicast

PROMISE Technology, Inc. announced that its VessRAID 1000 iSCSI storage series is validated for use with Genetec, Inc.‘s dynamic video management software, Omnicast.

Customers now have access to a solution that has undergone testing to ensure high level of compatibility and performance in advance of installation at the customer site.

Validating VessRAID with Omnicast not only provides users with a solution that enables better management and monitoring of their systems, but also provides a cost-effective storage subsystem to keep video data online longer while allowing fast access and reliable data protection.

VessRAID storage subsystems are optimized to be a solution for midsize to large scale video surveillance installations, including banks, transportation, education, gaming, and government institutions, that require a secure method for the long term storage of video data, low cost expansion capabilities, and energy efficiency.
