Interior Design Company Western Millwork Implements Securstore Cloud Backup

Western Millwork, Inc.,
an Arizona-based AWI certified manufacturer and installer
of custom architectural millwork and commercial interior elements, has chosen Securstore UK Ltd, a cloud backup
provider, to protect its data.

With around 200 employees, FSC Chain of Custody Certification and a broad
customer base, the possibility of data loss could have an impact on Western
Millwork’s BC.

Western Millwork’s specialties include casework, fixtures, paneling, standing
and running trim, solid surface, granite, glass, and decorative metals. With
over 29 years of experience serving repeat clients throughout the West and
Southwest regions, it needed a flexible and scalable cloud backup
solution that could guarantee the security of its data and a provider which
would mirror its reputation in the market.

Securstore uses 256-bit AES encryption and allows the customer to create its
own encryption key, therefore ensuring Western Millwork’s data is protected at
all times, in flight and at rest. This means confidential information can never
be accessed via any third parties.

The free local copy feature means customers can keep a copy of their data
onsite to any device and restore it at LAN speed should the need arise during a
DR scenario. Securstore would also copy all data to disk and ship to the
customer in parallel with providing 24/7 technical support.

The Securstore solution setup by Western Millwork is agentless. This means the
software can be setup on a single server and it sees other servers and machines
connected to it, therefore saving resources and management when compared to
other agent based providers. Data is compressed, de-duplicated and delta
blocked, and after the initial master backup which is done once, only
incremental changes are backed up using these technologies.
