Phil Colbourne EMEA Director of Alliances, BridgeHead

BridgeHead
Software Ltd. announced the appointment of Phil
Colbourne as director of alliances for EMEA.

He will be responsible for driving
channel strategy by managing existing regional alliance partners and supporting
BridgeHead’s revenue goals and strategic objectives through the development and
management of new partners.

BridgeHead sees the support of existing
partners and the development of new alliances as important and a component of
the plans for growth.

"Phil is a key addition to the EMEA

and president at BridgeHead. "He has a track record of building new
business opportunities and brings extensive industry expertise having held a
variety of healthcare IT sales and marketing positions. We’ve tasked Phil with
expanding BridgeHead’s channel strategy, something we’re confident he’s capable
of with his experience and specialist knowledge of both cardiology and
radiology systems and workflows."

 Colbourne joins BridgeHead after serving
as director of sales EMEA at Visage Imaging. Visage Imaging is a provider of
enterprise PACS and advanced visualization solutions. Here, he was responsible
for establishing both their direct and indirect sales operations in Europe.
Previously, he was at GE Healthcare as Midlands regional business development
manager and prior to this role, he was a member of the team which established
the European Cardiology Digital Imaging and Cardiac IT divisions for GE. Colbourne
also worked at Agfa Healthcare where he served as the EMEA Cardiology business
unit manager. At Agfa he was responsible for establishing their European CVIS
(Cardiovascular Information Systems) business unit.
