Tony Lee VP Engineering, Bitcasa

Bitcasa announced that Tony Lee joined the company as VP of engineering.

 Lee joins Bitcasa from Box, where he was VP of backend engineering. Prior to Box, he spent eight years at Yahoo, where his last title was senior director of engineering.

Bitcasa also announced that Frank Meehan joined its board of directors.

Meehan is part of Horizons Ventures, a Hong Kong-based investment firm focused on early-stage companies in the field of telecommunications, media and technology. He currently sits on the boards of Summly, Magisto, TOM Group, Fixmo, Affectiva, DoubleTwist and Desti, and has previously served on the boards of Siri and Spotify. He founded and served as the CEO of INQ Mobile and has held various positions at Hutchison Whampoa and Ericsson across Europe and Asia.
