Datrix Cloud Backup Services Powered by Asigra in UK

Asigra Inc. announced that Datrix Limited, a managed service provider since 1994, will now offer Asigra Cloud Backup to its clients for their backup and recovery needs, replacing the previously offered solutions from Dell’s AppAssure and Vembu Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

Datrix provides a range of IT services, including cloud backup and recovery, DR and consultancy to a diverse set of public and private clients throughout the United Kingdom.

Asigra Cloud Backup identifies duplicate data by looking for the same data queued for backup more than once. All data is compared based on its content, so it does not matter if the files have different names or on different servers. Being hardware and OS agnostic, it is able to backup and recover data from the datacenter out to all endpoint devices.

Datrix decision to offer Asigra Cloud Backup comes at a time when 66% of enterprises are considering cloud backup, and 62% of enterprises are considering a new approach to backup and recovery in the next 12 to 18 months, according a recent survey conducted by TechValidate.
