Pascal Barbolosi VP EMEA, DDN

DataDirect Networks, Inc. (DDN) has appointed Pascal Barbolosi to the position of VP, EMEA.

 Barbolosi is responsible for managing and scaling the company’s operations as it grows to meet increasing market demand for its big data – and content-optimized solutions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Barbolosi joins DDN from Bull, where he held the global role of VP, Extreme Computing, leading Bull’s HPC business unit. Prior to Bull, he held various senior roles at SGI over a 15-year period, culminating in the position of MD Southern EMEA. Earlier this year he was named one of HPCWire’s People to Watch in 2012, along with DDN CEO Alex Bouzari and other industry figures.
