Dov Moran Founder and President, KeyView
He founded flash pioneer M-Systems acquired by SanDisk.
By Jean Jacques Maleval | August 30, 2012 at 2:47 pmDov Moran is one of the biggest names in flash technology as he was founder, chairman and president of M-Systems Flash Disk Pioneers Ltd., sold to SanDisk for $1.5 billion in 2006. The Israeli firm was one of the first to design USB flash key (DiskOnKey) and SSD (DiskOnChip).
He just founded a start-up in Israel, KeyView, being its president, with a completely different project: a new keyboard.
Another start-up of Moran’s, Modu, offering small mobile phone, was not successful.
His latest business venture is a start-up named Comigo, which develops a TV platform that aims to extend viewing options across all types of handheld devices, providing new personalization and interactive socialization capabilities for TV viewers. He is founder and CEO of this company that is expected to distribute its products in 2H 2012.
He is also chairman of Biomas, developer of innovative pharmaceuticals, and was COB of Tower Semiconductor, developer and manufacturer of semiconductors and ICs for the electronics industry.
