Altaro Supports Windows Server 2012

Altaro Software, developer of backup solutions for Hyper-V, announced the beta release of Altaro Hyper-V Backup, with support for Windows Server 2012, including support for support for CSV 3.0, Volume Shadow Copies of SMB 3.0 and more.

The new release also includes support for backing up and restoring of VMs located on network paths, a new Metro-inspired interface and various tweaks and updates to improve speed and performance.

Altaro are giving away a free Nexus 7’s to 2 Beta testers.
