Pogo Storage Reseller Program

Brings Nexenta open storage solution to VARs.

Pogo Storage, Inc. announced the Pogo Storage Reseller Program for VARs.

Open storage, such as Nexenta, offers an opportunity for VARs, but many do not have the infrastructure to produce or support Nexenta-certified solutions on their own. Pogo Storage’s reseller program offers a solution that makes it possible for VARs to offer Nexenta-certified systems to their customers without the need for an upfront investment in engineering or support infrastructure.

Many VARs want to offer Nexenta to their customers, but constrained budgets and limited infrastructure can make that difficult. Some VARs may not have the resources to engineer and produce certified systems, or the support infrastructure to handle tier 1 support calls from customers. They also may need consultative help with putting the entire solution together, beyond just selling the software.

The program was created to make it easier for VARs to sell Nexenta-based solutions. VARs are now able to offer their customers complete, certified solutions, built and supported by Pogo Storage. VARs can leverage Pogo’s years of experience engineering Nexenta solutions in specific environments and workloads. Pogo’s knowledgeable tier 1 support team and experience in handling RMA logistics ensure that their customers are getting the best support.

The reseller program provides pre- and post-sale benefits, such as three program tiers to fit different VAR needs, and opportunity registration. For certain VARs, Pogo also offers a co-marketing program to increase demand generation and protected territories.
