ClearDisk 1.0 for Mac OS X
From Nektony, $2 on App Store
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on June 1, 2012 at 2:57 pmNektony LLC introduced Clear Disk, a Mac OS X utility designed to clear the hard disk of useless files which make Macs run low on disk space.
It analyses the state of particular system folders which tend to clog up, and enables the user to clean up the disk space by removing obsolete files. The advantages of ClearDisk over other similar tools are its quickness and efficiency, because it closely inspects the file categories that are commonly used for storage of unnecessary stuff on Macs.
It is known that a lot of different service, temporary, backup and just useless files appear on Macs while they’re running. They are not always removed after use. As a result, the user notices the lack of disk space. ClearDisk discovers the useless files and enables the user to remove them and clear the Mac’s disk space. It enables the user to reclaim several hundred megabytes of disk space. It removes unused language resources, unnecessary downloads, old caches and clears the trash.
ClearDisk has an interface,
taking the user through three steps:
- Scan the disk to identify the useless files
- Select files to be deleted
- Remove unnecessary files
System Requirements:
- Mac OS X 10.6 or later
- 0.8 MB
Pricing and Availability:
ClearDisk 1.0 is priced at $1.99 and is available exclusively through the App Store in the Utilities category.
