UK Charity Fusion Housing Implements Securstore

Fusion Housing, a housing support charity, has chosen Securstore UK Ltd to protect its data
across multiple sites.

Fusion Housing provides services to vulnerable individuals,
including its financial Bond Bank, recycling, central services, learning,
support and accommodation advice.

Due to the sensitivity of its data the non-profit organisation
needed a secure solution that supports multiple backup sites as well as
offering recovery procedures and compliance. These requirements could not be
addressed by a standard off the shelf backup solution.

Fusion Housing’s data growth roadmap meant it required advanced
control over what to backup. Securstore combats this challenge in two ways.
Firstly its two-tier storage medium lets customers set retention rules on old
file-based backup sets. This moves old/non-changing data to an archive tier.
Secondly the software GUI lets Fusion Housing add to and modify its backups 24 hours
a day.

before it leaves the firewall and while it is stored in the data centre. Using
