Sony PlayMemories Online Goes Live
Free 5GB cloud-based service that stores photos and HD videos

Capture those precious moments with your digital camera or camcorder. Then connect to your PC and upload your photos and movie clips to PlayMemories Online. There’s also a free app for direct uploads from Xperia or Android smartphone, Sony Tablet, iPhone/iPad or Android tablet. There’s no need for formatting, file conversion or resizing.
Photos and videos can be enjoyed on your PC, PlayStation3, smartphone, tablet, BRAVIA TV or S-Frame digital photo frame. BRAVIA and S-Frame compatibility will be available in Spring.
Pictures and movies can be emailed with a choice of ‘postcard’ templates and a personal message. Private sharing lets you securely share images and video clips via a link sent to friends and family.
PlayMemories Online is one of the services that’s offered on Sony Entertainment Network (SEN). Registered SEN users can get 5GB of storage for free.

It is a family of services and applications from Sony to enrich digital imaging experience. With it, photo and video memories can be enjoyed across multiple Sony products.
PlayMemories currently includes four solutions:
- PlayMemories Online – a cloud-based service for managing and sharing of videos and photos.
- PlayMemories Home – an application for organizing and editing videos and photos on personal computers.
- PlayMemories Studio – an application for organizing, editing and viewing videos and photos on PLAYSTATION3 (PS3).
- PlayMemories Mobile – an Android/iOS app for transferring videos and photos to smartphones or tablet devices from Wi-Fi enabled and compatible cameras such as Bloggie Live (USA only).
The PlayMemories Online service is available in UK, France and Germany.
