Three Cloud Service Brokers Powered By XiloCore and Asigra

And inducted to CompTIA IT Hall of Fame

Asigra Inc. announced that three cloud service brokers powered by long time partner XiloCore, the IT channel’s provider of data protection and business continuity services for SMBs, were inducted to the CompTIA IT Hall of Fame.

Steve Harper of Network Management Group Inc., Ted Warner of Connecting Point and Jane Cage of Heartland Technologies Solutions were named to the IT Hall of Fame for founding The Venture Tech Network. The IT Hall of Fame inductees will be honored during CompTIA’s Annual Member Meeting on April 11, 2012, in Chicago.

"We are very proud that Steve, Ted and Jane are receiving the recognition they deserve," said Lester Keizer, CEO, XiloCore. "The VentureTech Network changed the IT industry for the better, especially for small and medium businesses. We congratulate them on this very prestigious honor."

The IT Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions or provided outstanding service to the IT channel. The committee is made up of representatives from the vendor, distributor, solution provider and trade press communities. CompTIA administers the program on behalf of the industry.

"When we collaborated in 1992 to begin what eventually became the VentureTech Network, we knew we were creating something special," said Ted Warner, president, Connecting Point. "I don’t think anyone of us at the time thought it would turn into what it is today. I feel very humbled and honored by this recognition."

"It’s an extreme honor to be named to the IT Hall of Fame," said Steve Harper, president, NGMI. "The VentureTech Network is an example of what can happen when people come together with the desire to help others do better."
