Dicom Systems recently introduced Vendor Neutral Archive 2.0, which works with any existing hardware, and gives healthcare enterprises the capacity to turn their current storage to their PACS archive at any time. This is made possible through the use of DICOM and HL7 router – a Teleradiology gateway that connects everything together in a highly efficient and cost-effective way.
The functionality of DCMSYS VNA includes industry standard compression of incoming studies, selective deletion/rotation of studies based on rules, DICOM pre/post filtering, routing and archiving, self-recoverable database architecture (with DICOM engine for image archiving and management) and dynamic retention policy based on the DICOM router’s rules.
