Ingram Micro U.S. Offering Native Mac Protection Software

From Jaega Software

Jaega Software, Inc. announced that Ingram Micro Inc. is distributing its enterprise storage management software – i22 Metal for Mac – in the U.S.

Available, the software enables channel partners to protect and restore any Mac OS X system or network connected device with a touch of button.

"As more businesses open their networks to Mac-based systems and devices, the need for a reliable recovery solution that will help store, manage and protect information that is resident on Apple hardware is growing," said Bill Brandel, senior director, Advanced Computing, Data Center Software & Infrastructure Business Unit, Ingram Micro U.S. "Jaega’s i22 Metal for Mac is a smart solution that makes it easier for channel partners to protect and restore their clients’ multi-asset Mac system environments."

"Creating a simple and mobile solution that enables anyone to protect and recover their information assets from anywhere is the new benchmark", said David Schneider, chief executive officer at Jaega Software.

i22 Metal for Mac was developed for businesses that do not have the domain expertise in house if system failure happens and have a need to be back in production.

The product also features global, anytime access to centrally manage all networked Mac systems with a touch of a button from any iOS device – iPad or iPhone.
