Free 90-Day Physical Machine Licenses of AppAssure Backup and Replication

AppAssure Software, Inc. announced a special, limited-time offer for its Virtualization Conversion & Backup Bundle.

It’s designed to provide protection for your physical server during the time you’re transitioning from a physical to a virtual environment. If anything goes wrong during the conversion process, you will be able to recover the physical server at any point within 90 days.

This Virtualization Conversion Bundle provides users with a free 90-day license to backup all of their physical servers so they can be migrated to a virtual environment.

AppAssure allows for entire physical servers – including the OS and data – to be backed up and migrated to VMware, Hyper-V or Citrix XenServer environments by restoring them as virtual machines.

Licensing for virtual machines created in the migration process is priced per socket, but the 90-day license for the physical server the customer is migrating from is free.

The Virtualization Conversion & Backup Bundle includes multi-hypervisor support for VMware, Hyper-V, and XenServer.

The offer starts ends on Friday, March 30, 2012.
