IBM Innovation Center Operated by ATS Group in Philadelphia Area

The Philadelphia-Area IBM Innovation Center operated by ATS Group now offers an enablement environment for IBM Storwize V7000 Unified Storage.

IBM customers and representatives of IBM Corp. and IBM Business Partners can use the Innovation Center for training, access to V7000 Unified Systems and technical expertise for product demos, and other support services. Fewer than 10 locations across North America offer similar facilities and services.

V7000 Unified features include:

• One unified GUI for block and file data, which simplifies data management and improves backup protection using built-in Tivoli Storage Manager client and NDMP support
  Storage efficiency, saving up to 75% of space (using FlashCopy) and increasing disk utilization up to 30%
• IBM Active Cloud Engine, which automates storage (saving time and cost) and enables policy-based file management with user-defined policies
• File replication and file-level snapshots, improving business continuity and disaster recovery protection
