Micro-P to Distribute Qnap

Throughout UK

QNAP Systems, Inc. announced a new
alliance with Micro-Peripherals Ltd, an IT trade distributors in the UK. This
new alliance is effective immediately, with product listings live at Micro-P.

Founded in 2004, QNAP is a company dedicated to
delivering NAS solutions, video surveillance and network media
streaming products to the consumer, SOHO and high-end SMBs. With headquarters
in Taipei, Taiwan and subsidiary offices in China and the US, QNAP is expanding into the UK, recently broadening its product availability in
this market. Its products are designed to offer performance coupled
with reliability, scalability, and ease of installation and use.

The demand for such products has grown at a rapid rate as both
businesses and consumers have become increasingly reliant upon the use of data
and digital assets. This has in turn driven demand for a variety of data
management solutions including DR, virtual backup and private
cloud. QNAP’s product range includes rackmount and desktop storage
solutions designed for these purposes, as well as NVR surveillance systems,
available with a range of capacities and features depending on the user’s
requirements.

"Our partnership with Micro-P will enable us to continue fulfilling
our expansion plans for the UK market. With our customers ranging from the
consumer to the SOHO and the high-end SMB, it was important for us to engage a
strong distribution partner that is able to efficiently provide the channel
with the solutions they require to support this range of customers,
" said Brian
Pan, International Sales Director, QNAP Systems.

"We’re delighted to announce our alliance with QNAP. Resellers will
be keen to offer product ranges from this rapidly growing company that is
becoming a major player in the UK NAS market. QNAP will be an important partner
for us as we grow our offering in the storage market, enabling us to provide
resellers with network storage solutions for every market segment,
" said Stuart
Hatch, Business Manager at Micro-P.
