CRU-DataPort Adds USB 3.0
To RTX removable storage enclosures
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on January 9, 2012 at 2:58 pmCRU-DataPort‘s line of RTX removable storage enclosures offers a USB 3.0 interface with RTX100-3SJ and RTX100-3Q.
Whether you need increased storage, data backup or to physically transport data, RTX products are ranked among the fastest, safest and most rugged in the industry. If USB 3.0 is not your speed, you may opt for eSATA or USB 2.0 interfaces with RTX100-3SJ or dual FireWire 800 ports with RTX100-3Q.
CRU-DataPort incorporates TrayFree bay technology into RTX products for access to 3.5" SATA hard drive. Adding or swapping hard drives is simple as opening the door, sliding the drive in and closing the door. RTX 1-bay products offer additional data protection with CRU’s passive thermal design for optimal heat dissipation, which requires no fans resulting in a quiet unit.
Bruce Boyajian, official photographer for the Miss America pageant, said: "Increased performance and functionality make RTX products the perfect solution for managing and archiving data."
RTX 1-bay storage enclosures are a solution for photographers, videographers, and SMB markets where digital data accessibility and versatility are essential.
Products are available without drives or with up to 3TB. RTX100-3SJ and RTX100-3Q are available through CRU resellers starting at $99.
CRU’s secure storage solutions for digital workflow, including mobile acquisition and storage, capture and post, and archiving and backup, will be on display at PMA/CES in Las Vegas, NV January 10-13, 2012 and at Imaging USA in New Orleans, LA January 15-17, 2012.
