This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on January 5, 2012 at 2:45 pmCirago International, manufacturer of multimedia centers, storage, display adapters and wireless solutions, announced the launch of two additions to its line of USB 3.0 SuperSpeed accessories that provide faster data transfer speed and a better interactive experience to support the demand for high-performance connectivity between PCs, peripherals and accessories. The company unveiled the USB 3.0 products at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
"USB 3.0 is quickly becoming the new standard in connectivity, offering up to 10-times faster data transfer for less wait time and improved latency, but with backward compatibility to USB 2.0 that enables you to continue using all of your current gear," said Patrick Lo, Cirago CEO. "As more and more PC manufacturers implement USB 3.0 technology, our new USB 3.0 devices are a future-proof investment – —even if you don’t have a USB 3.0-equipped PC now, the next one you purchase most likely will be, and you’ll be ready."

With easy setup and three display modes to choose from (Mirrored, Extended or Rotation), the UDA3000 features a high-performance DisplayLink Certified chipset and is USB-powered with no additional power adapter required.
"With this adapter, you can enjoy flicker-free viewing of high bit-rate video on virtually any HDMI display, including projectors, LCD and plasma TVs, with plug-and-play ease and high-performance in a very small form factor," Lo said.

Dual Hard Drive Docking Station with One-Touch Cloning
The USB 3.0/SATA 2 Dual Hard Drive Docking Station (CDD3000) with standalone cloning supports offline duplication to copy all data and system files from one drive to another with the touch of a button – no PC connection required. Or connect to a PC to use the included software for flexibility in choosing what files to process. The compact dual-bay docking station accepts both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDDs and enables read/write capabilities to both drives simultaneously via SuperSpeed USB 3.0 for fast data transfer.
"This set-it-and-forget-it docking station is ideal for system admins who regularly need to clone multiple hard drives," Lo said. "This compact device makes it fast and easy. Just drop in the drives, press the clone button and walk away. And, since it doesn’t tie up your PC during cloning, you’re free to work on other things while the drives synchronize."
