IBM Implementation Services for tape systems – IBM Virtualization Engine TS7700 helps to achieve an efficient and reliable implementation of IBM Virtualization Engine TS7700 model, to configure it, and to connect it to supported tape drives and one server.

The IBM Virtualization Engine TS7700 is a mainframe virtual-tape solution that is designed to optimize tape processing.

IBM Implementation Services for tape systems – IBM Virtualization Engine TS7700 assists with the planning, implementation, configuring, testing, and basic skills instruction for the IBM Virtualization Engine TS7700 model. IBM will implement the IBM Virtualization Engine TS7700 model and connect and configure it to supported tape drives and one server. The enhancements include implementation of a multiple cluster grid and multiple locations.

It offers the experience of skilled IBM storage specialists who have the expertise and methods to implement the IBM Virtualization Engine TS7700 model.

The storage specialist will:

• Coordinate a planning and configuration session
• Assist with the implementation of the system components
• Assist with the configuration and verification testing of the tape product
• Provide basic skills instructions for selected client personnel
