Outlook Online Backup Functionality for Handy Backup

Novosoft LLC, a developer of data protection software, announced Outlook online backup functionality for Handy Backup, as a part of a new interruption-free approach to copying data.

This new version of the Handy Backup utility now brings the advantage of Outlook hot backup service.

The feature comes as a part of a general approach to smart copying of data without closing files, shutting down apps, and interrupting service operation. With the options for browsing backup data before recovery and restoring either individual emails, or the entire mail account, Handy Backup becomes a powerful Outlook online backup software. The announced option is available in the utility version 7.0.

Outlook online backup functionality by Handy Backup 7.0 helps to copy the entire Outlook data (messages, contacts, calendars, notes, settings, etc.) to a safe storage, service shutdown-free. The option is a part of the general hot backup approach implemented in the new software version: copying data requires no closing files and stopping the services.

Hot backup is not the only novel feature boosting Outlook data protection with Handy Backup. The software also presents an opportunity to open a backup archive and read messages even before restoring this archive. Thus, an Outlook backup file becomes a folder with files to browse inside.

All the email messaging backup features, like the copying of MS Exchange 2010, are also included in the release.

A number of newly established options:

• Volume Shadow Copy backup (for processing locked and blocked data);
• Backing up of large data (unlimited number of files per backup session even for files up to 4GB);
• Changing backup and recovery location (extended settings).
