Sandberg Rolls Out USB 3.0 Docking Station

Sandberg has achieved success with the previous version of its Sandberg SATA Docking Station. That has now been discontinued in favor of a product, which utilizes USB 3.0.
With a docking station on your computer, you can take advantage of the world’s simplest method for connecting spare hard disks. Insert the hard disk into the top of the product and you can access it on your computer within a few seconds. It’s also possible to swap HDDs while the computer is switched on.
This allows for some very flexible options for troubleshooting, data copying and backups.
If your computer has a USB 3.0 port you can experience transfer speeds of up to 5 Gb/s. The Docking Station supports both 2.5" and 3.5" HDDs.
The device appears on screen as an external hard disk and does not require any additional installation.
