One More Entrant in Online Backup: CA-Based Backzup

Backzup Service Ltd., a new entrant in the online backup solutions market, announced its services today.

Backzup.com provides online backup service to home users and offers 5 different plans ranging from 512 GB of storage to unlimited storage.

As an introductory offer, Backzup is offering the 512 GB plan free now. Additional storage ranging from 1.0 TB to unlimited disk space can be purchased at cheap prices.

Providing more details about the company and the product, Kevin Hernandez, the founder and president of Backzup said: "Backzup provides a reliable, safe and secure service. Online backups market has been growing over the last few years and a lot of companies have tried to gain a foot hold. Leading companies like Livedrive, Backblaze and Mozy.com have gained a huge share of the market. Many small entrants have recently entered the market, some of which are growing while there are others that shut down business in less than a month’s time. Hernandez said that Backzup is in the market for the long haul, and is dedicated to provide the best customer service by offering free phone and email support.

Based in San Francisco, the company is backed by a $500,000 funding raised earlier this year.
