Rectiphy Brings Out Active Image Protector 3.1

ActiveImage Protector 3.1 provides many new enhancements to its management infrastructure such as remote push install, backup reconciliation, off-site replication and new scheduling options.
New Features and Options:
- Off-site Replication – Off-site replication allows the specification of up to three post-backup replication locations for backup redundancy. Replication locations can be shared network folders or FTP folders over a wide-area network. Off-site replication can prove to be valuable in the event of natural disaster or systemic failures and breaches.
- One-time Incremental Backup Scheduling – This feature allows the scheduling of a one-time full backup followed by scheduled incremental backups. This differs from weekly or monthly incremental backups where a full backup is made each week or month respectively.
- Incremental Reconciliation – In the event of an incremental backup failure or if an incremental backup is accidentally damaged or deleted, incremental reconciliation will detect the inconsistency and take appropriate actions during the next backup to restore consistency.
- Remote Push Install – Remote Push install allows installation of the ActiveImage Protector backup agent from a remote management console to a target server, desktop or virtual machine; this feature simplifies the deployment of ActiveImage Protector in medium to large size businesses and virtual environments.
