RAND Worldwide Using Paragon Software

Paragon Software Group
announced that RAND Worldwide is using Paragon’s backup and disaster recovery
software to protect its remote and classroom laptops.

RAND is a provider of technology solutions and professional
services to the engineering community, targeting organizations in the building,
infrastructure and manufacturing industries. It utilizes laptops both in the
field and in their training rooms. As such, they needed backup and disaster
recovery software that could provide quick and easy system-restore operations
for both scenarios.

For field
operations, one of the deciding factors behind selecting Paragon’s software was
that the software could hold a backup image within a hidden and protected
partition, while minimizing accessibility by anyone but an administrator.
