DataON Storage, supplier of enterprise storage enclosures, demonstrated its new 6G SAS disk shelves providing high-availability, high-density, and scalability features and built in Nexenta Systems‘ Certified storage Solutions Partner at this year’s Openstorage Summit, held in San Jose on October 26-27.

With the storage industry landscape changing rapidly, DataON has seized the opportunity to create industry standard disk shelf products purposely designed for the Openstorage community. The DataON NX-2260 Unified Storage System, powered by NexentaStor, is a NAS appliance that incorporates enterprise features without incurring the exorbitant prices of proprietary hardware and software. By leveraging the power of NexentaStor, DataON Enterprise storage products provide many features previously found only with expensive proprietary solutions-and many features entirely unique to ZFS.
