181% Bookings Revenue Growth for Veeam From 3Q10 to 3Q11

Total bookings revenue grew 181 percent in Q3 of 2011 compared to the same period in 2010, and new license bookings revenue increased 175 percent over that same period.
The company unveiled the next version of its product, Veeam Backup & Replication v6, which extends its lead in VM backup. Veeam also added 5,000 new customers in the quarter.

Product updates
Announced Veeam Backup & Replication v6, which will be available in Q4 and incorporates new functionality including:
- Enterprise scalability: Streamlines deployment and maintenance of remote office/branch office (ROBO) and large installations
- Advanced replication: Accelerates replication by 10X, streamlines failover, and provides real failback with delta sync
- Multi-hypervisor support: Reduces the cost and complexity of managing multi-hypervisor environments with new support for Windows Server Hyper-V and Microsoft Hyper-V Server
- 1-Click File Restore: Extends Veeam’s existing instant file-level recovery with delegated, web-based restore directly to the original VM, without requiring a direct network connection or in-guest agent
Awards: Veeam Backup & Replication v6 won Best of VMworld 2011 for New Technology. This is the second year in a row that Veeam has won the Gold award in this category.
Management team
Veeam strengthened its leadership in Canada with the appointment of Dirk Vanderwal as regional sales director. Vanderwal will oversee sales and partner programs in the region. Veeam also promoted Doug Hazelman, long-time Veeam employee and VMware vExpert, to Vice President of Product Strategy and Chief Evangelist. Hazelman established the Veeam blog, and twitter handles @Veeam and @VMDoug social media outlets.
Geographic growth
The Veeam Asia Pacific headquarters office in Sydney, Australia moved to larger facilities to accommodate growth in the region, while Veeam also added new colleagues to its office in Singapore. New license sales in the APAC region increased more than 250 percent in Q3 of 2011 compared to the same period in 2010.
