Stec SSDs for Infortrend Storage Families

Infortrend Corporation and STEC, Inc. announced that storage solutions in Infortrend’s ESVA, EonStor DS and EonNAS product families are now available with STEC MACH16 SSDs.

Featuring performance and reliability, these SSDs allow users of Infortrend storage systems to meet the requirements of mission-critical applications.

ESVA (Enterprise Scalable Virtualized Architecture) offers performance SAN storage solutions for mid-range enterprises. EonStor DS is Infortrend’s entry-level storage solution for SMBs, providing reliable hardware and data protection for SAN and DAS environments. EonNAS features unified storage solutions to help SMBs and mid-range enterprises deal with file-based and block-based applications.

MACH16 SSDs available for Infortrend solutions include SLC models with capacities of 100GB and 200GB and performance of up to 26,000 IOPS. Sustained data transfer rates can reach up to 250MB/s (read) and 180MB/s (write).

• ESVA systems;
• small-form-factor models in the EonStor DS family (accommodating 2.5-inch drives) featuring 6GB/s SAS drive-side connectivity; and
• EonNAS 3000 Series systems.
